Alligators and Crocodiles

1. Alligators have a U-shaped snout and crocodiles have a V-shaped snout. 
2. Alligators prefer fresh water, crocodiles prefer salt water.
3. Alligators are found in the southern United States and eastern China.  Crocodiles are found in North and South America, Africa, Asia and Australia.
4. Alligators tend to be darker than crocodiles.
5. The crocodile has teeth on the lower jaw that are visible when the mouth is closed.
6. According to the song, alligators are seen later, while crocodiles are seen in a while.
